Painful feet & legs

Post a new topicby Chips on Fri Mar 06, 2009 3:31 pm

My husband had TB last year, from May - December. He has been 'cured', but is still suffering with the side-effects of the medication. He has had such painful feet that he's still battling to walk. He says it feels like walking on 'broken glass'. Its more than 2 mths since finishing the medication & there has not been much relief.
Is this a common side-effect? Is there anyone out there who could give us some hope that this will clear up?
He's done some research & seems to think its peripheral neuropathy which is nerve damage.
What can be done about this & will it get better?
