Sore Throat

I have been to the doctor twice for this condition. I have also been on antibotics and I still have a discomfort in my throat. It seems to bother me more at night. I have had this condition for almost a month. How long is this condition suppose to last? Please advise me someone.

Have you been to an ENT for a second opinion, I would not expect it to last longer than 6 weeks

I am in the process of getting the doctor to make an appointment with an ENT. I have had this discomfort for about 6 weeks. It goes away and comes back. When it first started I was in Amsterdam and it was sever, but when I returned to the States it appeared at time to clear up and then come back. I also have a sinus drainage and the roof of my mouth is irritated.
