Solitary Pulmonary Nodule

I had a ct scan done on my digestive track and it was discovered that I had a Hiatel hernia and an 8mm lung nodule on the lower left lung base. I have been told by my PCM that my second 3-month CT scan shows my nodule has grown from 8mm to 9mm. She recommended me to a Pulmonary specialist for a biposy. I go on 20 Aug 08. Last October I had an invasive squamous cell carcanomia removed from my nose. The ENT had to rebuild the right side of my nose with cartilage from my ear. Does this growing nodule indicate that it might be cancerous, or that the carcinoma moved down to my lungs? Very worried
