Hi Joe,

You sound like the classic case of someone with sleep apnea. I was recently diagnosed with OSA and am awaiting my CPAP (I just had my second sleep study done a few days ago). From what I have been told, many of your symptoms are a result of your apnea. The weight gain & depression are definitely a part of severe OSA. Try going back to your doctor and trying CPAP again. My doctor told me that the success of using a CPAP depends alot on the comfort of your mask and being well informed on how to use it. I was talking with a friend who has been using the CPAP for a few years now and he said he has lost a ton of weight and says it has saved his life. Don't give up! Do this for yourself and believe you can and will feel better!
