does this sound like sarc?

Post a new topicby mfeex1 on Fri Oct 12, 2007 5:34 pm

For 1 1/2 yrs I've been searching for an answer to an illness of unknown etiology. The latest suggestion which (hopefully) will be followed up on soon is sarcroidosis. Question: when I was feeling more ill, I would have monthly episodes that lay me out flat for a good two weeks or more. I wouldn't say I feel fine once those "episdoes" are over, but I'm wondering if any of you who suffer from this illness have experienced these periodic bad patches.

nausea, pain in the nose, severe sensitivty to light and sound, excess saliva, feverish feeling, heat in the face that comes and goes, some facial swelling, sweats, achy, malaise, feeling like I've got an unusual, really bad flu..... lasts about 2 1/2 weeks

Hi, my name is Kathleen and I was diagnosed with Sarcoid when a lump was removed
from my breast checking for cancer. No cancer, Thank God, but was diagnosed
with Sarcoid. So, the answer to your question is Yes, that does sound like Sarcoid.

I have times when it "hits" and all I want to do is sleep and it seems every part of my
body hurts. I am in remission, so they say. (The specialists)

But, I have "flare-ups" and sometimes they get bad.

Do you have pain in the underarm region? I ask because I have sarcoid in my lympnodes
and will have pain when it flares-up.

Sincerely,

Kathleen
