Sarcoidosis

My name is Diundra and I have been diagnosed with this disease for about five years. My mom had this disease only she had it in her lungs. When I was first diagnosed with this disease my mom had just died. I was told that I probably always had it but due to the stress of the death it was prob. supressed.

You are not a lone many young woman suffer with this disease. It is just not a black disease. It effects all races and even horses!!!! I have had this since 1989, thought I was all alone. I could no longer be around people because smells make me deathly ill. (coughing, choking, migraines, (noises)). I had to give up working, going to church, the big house, and lots of things. The phsyical pain and mental problems I still deal with because of Sarcoid is hard to handle. But, I volunteer at Sarcoid Networking Association and it has been a wonderful help to me. It is nice to be able to send information to others and feel I am helping someone.
