Suggestions for Antibotics for treating Pseudomonas Aerugino

Post a new topicby Meave on Tue Sep 16, 2008 11:59 pm

I have another post started when I first joined the forum several months back. I need another antibiotic replacement as I cannot tolerate the Tobramycine. I have one asthma attach after another and my condition worsens while on it for my 14 day period. I had tried mixing the vials with pulmacort or another nebulizer in hope the thick solution of Tobramycin would work better. No success.

For the other two weeks of the month I use Levofloxacin 1,000 mg twice aday. I tend to do better on this antibotic, also Cipro but have been informed both are of the same like oranges and grapefruits etc.

My doctor is stumped as to what to prescribe me for the other two weeks of each month.

Advice...suggestions please!
