Re: STAGE 1A ADENO CARCINOMATypically stage 1 adenocarcinoma is treated with surgical resection and the five year survival rates range from 61%-76% depending on which study one reads. the larger the tumor at diagnosis, the lower the survival. The position of the tumor and the patient's ability to have surgery also affect survival.
