I dont know if any of this info will help you or not but I hope. My dad has been coughing up blood for about five weeks now. He also had a really bad cough. Sometimes he would even cough up blood clots. He went to the dr. and they did an x-ray. They found blood in his right lung with a mass. He was supposed to get a bioapsy but he went to the ER because of how much blood he has coughed up. My dad owns his own trucking business so he was working really really hard until the day he went to the hospital. He acted fine. When he got there they did another x-ray. They saw the mass and wanted to do surgery. When they did surgery, here the blood in his lung they were seeing was a mass about as big as a canned food if not bigger. They said they were only removing his upper lobe, and had to remove his whole right lung. The dr. said dad would be on a respirator for a couple of days if not for the rest of his life! The doctor said they removed all of the cancer, and an hour after his surgery he was breathing without the respirator! That was about a week and a half ago. He looks amazing! His breathing is good and everything. The only symptoms my dad had was weezing, coughing spells, coughing up blood and blood clots. He would get tired sometimes, My dad was always on the move, never slowed down. He ate good, toward the surgery he was getting back pain. He couldnt have anything touching his back or he could cough. I hope I didnt get off track and this info can somewhat help you! I hope everything works out for the best. Pray a lot! The doctor said Dad was a miracle! Take care!
