Hi there all well i was diagnosed with nsclc in nov 2007 and had a full left lung removed in dec07 too i then had chemotherapy for about 4 months which is the most horrendous thing i have ever experienced.I ended up back in hospital near my last cycle of chemotherapy due to severe sepesis which i later discovered was life threatening so it was a good job i went to the hospital when i did.

My mom found out about a month ago that she had lung cancer she woke up one morning with a pain in her neck two days later she had a huge lump she went to the hospital and they told her it was cancer after a bunch of tests they told her it had spread to her lympth nodes and she had a tumor 5cm on her lower lobe as well as on esofagus ( ? about the spelling ) she said they didnt tell her what stage it was and they are starting chemo and radiation today over the weekend the other side of her neck started hurting and she noticed another lump i fear it has spread to her brain or her spine the dr said that if they had caught it sooner ( before it spread to her lympth nodes) they could have removed her lower lobe but right now there is no cure and the chemo and radiation is just to stop it from spreading and reduce the size of the tumor i refuse to belive there is no hope reading your story makes me pray that there is so if you or anyone else knows of some resorces that might help me please post it and if your are the praying type please pray we could use all the prayer we can get her name is jeannie and she is my angel !!!
