My Dad, my hero

In July of 2002 my Dad was diagnosed with lung cancer The doctors gave him about a year. He had a left lung resection, radiation and numerous rounds of chemo From the start he had a great attitude and great doctors.

My Dad lost his fight on 11 August 2007. He was a walking miracle and proved his doctors wrong. He had a great sense of humor even the last day of his life. So, no matter what the diagnosis keep positive!!

How did you cope with it daily. My mother is 72 years old an diagnosed with lung cancer and lymph nodes found also on both lungs. I hurt inside in the thought if what my mom must be feeling inside as to death and pain along the way, I love my mom and everyday since then I cannot stop crying its too much pain
