Lung Cancer Survivor of 10 YearsI was dx with Stage IIIb lc in March 1998. The tumor was too large to operate, so I endured 45 days of radiation, and 6 cycles of chemo With a positive attitude, prayer, and good doctors, I am thankful to be telling my story today. “Fight the fight” and don’t ever give in to it. Re: Lung Cancer Survivor of 10 YearsThanks for your post and it gives me hope for my mother she was dx with stage III 1b also. After reading everything It was looking pretty grim but during my search for answers I found your post. Thank You and I will pray for you and ask that you pray for my mom to fight and stay here at least half the time you have.
Re: Lung Cancer Survivor of 10 YearsHi, I have a question for you if you don't mind, What drug or drugs did you use during your 6 cycles of chemotherapy during your treatment? My dad was recently diagnosed with stage 3B cancer and its an inspiration and motivation to hear positive storys from survivors such as yourself for people that are battling cancer to never give up hope or faith despite given a grim prognosis and despite being told by doctors that you have no hope. Thank you for your post and may god bless you with many more years.
