Re: How to deal?Hi,
First of all, your situation is very similar to mine. I'm 37 and my mother is 75. 5-6 years ago, she was diagnosed with vaginal cancer which had metastizised to her right lung. Due to the overall condition of her health, it was determined that it was best that she not undergo surgery for remove the lung. She was also not willing to undergo chemo. Just a week ago, she got a very bad cough and went to the doctor for xrays. Her lung tumor has grown from the size of a grape to about the size of my fist. She is now open to chemotherapy. Her first session of a very low dose chemo is to start on January 6th. Some months ago, I lost my faith in God and was very angry over this. I decided that I could not be of any help to my mother without faith and would probably not be strong enough to go thru this myself with out God's help. We are very optimistic about her recovery. I don't care what anyone or any research says. You have to do the same. God has the last say. I've been praying and my faith has been growing and he has been showing me that we are not alone in this battle. You must think positive! The Lord said: "I have told my people they can have WHAT THEY SAY, but they are SAYING WHAT THEY HAVE." Words are very powerful. Words manifest into reality. Speak positively. Speak as though she were already cured. Every morning, thank God for another beautiful day with your lovely mother and thank him for healing her in advance. Do it with faith. NOTHING is impossible for our creator. I wish you peace. Esther
