DVT/Pulmonary Embolism

I would like to start by encouraging people to listen to their bodies very carefully. I am one of the lucky few that got a warning that I had numerous embolisms in both lungs. I had dramatic shortness of breath and chest pain; both of which I dissmissed. I thought I was just out of shape and had a pulled muscle from some heavy lifing. When the chest pain increased, I relented and went to the doctor. I was admitted to the hospital and given a CT immediately.
