Hi - I just got diagnosed last week with COPD. I am 57 years old. I smoked until I was 39 and then started smoking again at 52. I had no idea I had a lung problem until I had a CT scan done. I have quit smoking - I am not really having any symptoms from the COPD at this time. How have you been? Have you gone to a pulmonary specialist? What did he/she say about your COPD? Hope to hear from you.
Best regards,
Julie

So have you been able to quit smoking pot? I have tried pot in the past but I am addicted to nicotine. Believe me - It was so very tough for me to put down the cigarette. I really enjoyed smoking - and was in complete denial that it was poisioning my lungs and the rest of my body. Didn't realize that pot could also do the same thing. You are the second person who posted about pot - I am really surprised.

How has it been going - if you quit now - you can stop any further damage. You are young - you never know what modern medicine might have in another 10 years and this will not be such a big problem. Keep positive! Hugs, Julie in Southern California.
