Hi, I lost my father (age 58) to COPD on June 9, 2008. My father was a smoker since the age of 10. Prior to his death my father continued to smoke and fight to breathe. He had oxygen at home and would often cough so bad he would black out. My 4 siblings as well as my mother spent more time mad at my father for killing himself and not caring enough to quit smoking for us. On Wednesday, June 4th the nightmare happened.
