My mum is so sick with COPD and it’s been a very long journey. She was diagnosed about 15 years ago and to tell you the truth…I didn’t even know what COPD was…neither did she. Life went on. She smoked still, for a while, and eventually quit. She hasn’t smoked for at least 12-13 years now. And then the COPD started to rear its ugly head. That was about 9 years or so ago.
