chronic cough- Can You Stop It?

Hello, Had septoplasty and endoscopic sinus surgery 3/29/07. Operation unsuccessful as new sinus cavity closed. Need another surgery. Have coughing spells lasting up to 2 hours and frequent spells reguarly. Have taken Aavelox, Benicar, Xopenex, Nexium, Mucinex, Advair inhaler, Prednisone and more.
