Upper Left Side Chest pain

Post a new topicby dehughey on Wed Jul 02, 2008 8:23 pm

For the past 2 Days I have been having some Minor tightness/pain/throbbing in the upper portion of my chest, It usually goes away after about 30 minutes, Comes back every now and then but other than that there are no other symptoms, other than me panicing about it and getting freaked out and start worrying. Any advise on if this is something serious or just something small?

How serious it might be depends on more information. Do you get short of breath, light headed and/or sweaty along with the episodes? Do they happen a any time or when you heavily exercise, or lift something? Are you a smoker? Have you had any other symptoms like fevers, coughing up any amount of blood or foul tasting sputum?

It could be nothing or it could be something. If it continues with the same intensity or worsens do not procrastinate, get it medically evaluated.
