At the age of 6 months, my son came ill with 40 degree temps, extreme laboured breathing, unfocused, not eating or drinking, pale, blue lips, sweaty and smelly. I took him to the local GP where they told me to take him to hospital. On arrival they took him straight through and put him on oxygen, then a drip, then another.
