Respiratory rehabilitation is a comprehensive program that encompasses everything that you do. It needs to understand how your home is laid out, how your kitchen is set up, the type of chores you do, everything. They will tailor a lifestyle that will allow you to get the most within the limitations your lung functions may present. They will provide you with a physical training program to maximize your abilities. They will educate you on how to avoid exacerbations and how to recognize them early should they occur. A good respiratory rehab program is a Godsend. They will work you and challenge you. But if you listen, comply and execute the instructions your life will be much, much better.
