help me pleaseHI everyone, how are you?
My name is Lee, and I am 21 years old, a Law major at College. At the age of 12 I was told that I had Anemia yet my symptoms keep getting worst as the years go by. I am feeling weaker, much more pale, I freeze more frequently, and my blood pressure goes down alot. When I have my period i go through inmense pain, I faint alot, vomit has become my second buddy!!! While in such moment I cant eat, move or drink nothing. My stomach is under extreme pain and the doctors cant help me. The common medications wont help the pain at all; I am reaching the point of where my stomach is closing because I dont feel the need to eat and food makes me sick. I am eating the meal size of those baby plates and even then at times I cant finish them. My hair is falling and I have had many byopsies done but yet no clue as to why!!!! I dont know what is wrong with me but if someone has the same symptoms please write to me!!!
Re: help me pleaseHi, I have just read your article and i hope that i can help you. One of the thing that i have learnt is that anemics need to have iron in their blood because a lack of it causes your freezing up and those fainting spells ar due to your lack of blood and inability of it to carry oxygen. This has a lot to do with your diet and you need to take supplements. You lose your hair because your body is lacking the necessary nutrients. You lack calcium for sure along with iron, magnesium, zinc. Your lack of appetite, when this sets in, try having a piece of grated apple with honey, this helps with settling the stomach and it makes you hungry. When the stomach is settled eat little bits until your appetite opens up. You need to eat lots of green leafy vegetables, liver, beets along with supplements that builds up your blood count. Even iron supplements and there are those that so not constipate you. Even try one a day seven seas evening primrose oil one to try and control your hormones. It is impertive that you learn to eat again because your bosy wont sustain you. Even if you dont feel like it eat something small along with a supplement and make sure you include proteins in evry meal. Have pink salmon at least twice a week. kimme
Re: help me pleaseI am e-mailing only because I feel your pain and your need for finding some help and some answers. With all my heart I wish I could help you, I just do not know what to do. I was just diagnosed with anemia and I have uncomfortable pain in my stomach area, but I do not know how everything relates just yet. I am going for a biopsy on the 19th in hopes to find out what is going on with the diagnosis of anemia. I do have Fibromyalgia (chronic all over pain) so I feel you. All I can say is I will try to find some answers for you, but for now just know someone has you on their minds and in her heart and prayers. Stay focused and don't get in despair, for there is hope for all things--they just need to find what is going on and they will--don't give up--stay strong. If I would give up when I felt so terribly bad I would not be here today--so, there is relief---YOU need to find the right doctor to be more concerned about your condition. In the mean time if I hear of anything to help--I will e-mail you back. But, NEVER give into it and do not let this pain and craziness become you---I did for awhile and then EXTREME depression sets in and you DO NOT want that. Hang in there--someone cares. I do.
